Many thanks to everyone for their input. We have been using sipura 1001 and 2002 units and they work great as a SIP adapter, but something that can also function as a router would be more useful to us. Does anyone have any comments on the Sipura 2100? What about a battery backup? Time

Try the Sipura SPA-2002.. at good prices from VoipSupply.com We have been using those now with 0 problems. We remote provision them from our office here. Once a minute (time configurable) each device checks in with us to check out its configuration file and see if it needs updates. The

There is sample XML from Sipura for the 841 and 941 Phones. If you use that as a guide, you should be able to generate XML for any of the ATA boxes and then you just need to set up a server for the boxes to get their configs from. We have been doing it with pretty good success for the 841,

Yes.. there are provisioning tools that you have to get. Unfortunately it's this catch 22 loop. You have to prove that you can offer 200+ ATAs to customers, or you can't get the tools, but yet, you don't really want to offer those ATAs to the customer's without having the tools. At any rate...
