I'm not sure what would be enough to provide timing, but you can easily try by accessing a meetme without a timing source :) - Load the module, test if that is sufficient - Edit /etc/zaptel.conf to provide info about the card, execute ztcfg and test again - Edit zapata.conf to provide info about the card, test again. I am assuming chan_zap was already built for asterisk, it should do that automatically when it detects the libraries.
