This is just to notify you that an upgrade from v13.3.0 to 14.0.0 on a
self-built GNU Emacs 29.2 on macOS Ventura has failed. Emacs froze with
100% CPU usage. v14.0.0 was downloaded from ELPA, but something hung in
the installation process. I'm afraid have no idea what went wrong, so I
downgraded

This is right. I use it with the current Vanilla Emacs, and it works. I
ran into trouble when I noticed that GNU Emacs on the Mac does not
