Hello and good morning,
why does auctex convert the quotes-input always to German-quotes,
i.e. ` and ' ? I have (setq TeX-parse-self t) in my .emacs and I don't
understand why it doesn't work.
I'd be grateful for any help.

PS: also the ispell-dictionary is always the german one, and I have not
been able to change it yet ... I simply don't understand what is in the
auctex-manual... :(

C-c RET to an existing document didn't work for me, although both

Use \enquote from csquotes instead of literal
