It may interest some of you to know that I have quite a few photos of
Jack Iggulden at the NCS at Gawler 17 Oct - 1 Nov 1959 in colour.
Others in the photos are: Alan Patching, Ron Roberts, Eric Ebenbach,
Lawrie Lynch, Bill Iggulden Reg Harris, Bruce Tunbridge.

I believe the red nose and wingtips were painted on the white fibreglass
gliders in Europe to enable them to be seen against snow - mainly in the
mountains for SR.
Whilst flying in Austria, a Ka6e was lost and because it was all white,
was not located for about 3 days. It was only 2-3 kms
I have already burnt DVDs at home from our VHS version. The sound and picture
are top quality.

A car will normally aquaplane when it is travelling at approximately 112
kph without cruise control on. There is nothing you can do about it
once it starts.
It happens often on the motorways in the UK.

No Stuart - teaching gliding is not like teaching someone to drive a car. It's a lot easier to
teach people to fly a glider (from someone who has done both). Unfortunately the car drivers
don't get the follow up tuition and group discussions once to improve their skills they have
gone solo,
