In NSW, you need a weighbridge ticket for the empty trailer for
registration, but this is after it has been imported. For anyone in NSW, I
have detailed notes on what is required which I am happy to pass on.

Another report quotes the NTSB investigators confirming that the tail dolly

Looks like this issue is still on the boil. Apparently the legality has been
challenged with DG threatening to withdraw all support if it all becomes too
hard.
One change to note though is that if you now buy an old LS or DG glider, you
will not be liable for back payments of the license fee

You are fortunate you were not required to pay retrospectively for 2010 and
2011. I had to and I am pretty sure everyone else did. The rules then were
that anyone joining any time in the future would have to pay retrospectively
to 2010, and I think this is still the case for anyone

One of our very promising young members is about to commence work in
Germany, south west of Munich. He is very keen to pursue his gliding and
would be most appreciative of any recommendations or introductions to
gliding clubs in that area. Any recommendations or contacts most

Current doing a panel upgrade on the Lake Keepit Club Jantar and need a 57
mm Cambridge Vario repeater from the LNav to replace the current 80 mm
repeater. Happy to swap or purchase outright. Can anyone assist or point me
towards one.

For us operators, I really think it is quite simple ... just do what the GFA
requires (ie observe the requirements of AN84) and if there are issues
between the GFA and CASA, let them sort them out.
AN84 Issue 2 was released on 7th April, 1998 and the pre-amble states
