And there it is... Having now tried at least 8 different manufacturers modern (released in the last 5 years) varios, in terms of gust rejection I find they all work very well until they get hit with the strong, narrow, gusty summer thermals we get between trigger time and the late afternoon

To my observation, They all struggle to effectively differentiate strong horizontal components from the vertical components and for good reason when one takes the time to fully understand the physics and resolutions of systems involved. Agreed. However, once you understand the effects of
