Hi

I am interested in using the web services that are available with Exchange 2007.
We have only just moved to Exchange 2007.

I can interact using SMTP, already tested and it works. One has to provide ones
login credentials so transparent integrated security is not an option (if
anyone know a way around this please let me know).

If I need to, the system admin guy will set up IMAP to read mail but I would
rather not go down this path.

I tried a trial MAPI control which is ok. Integrated security is fine. An issue
which becomes all to apparent is those annoying security dialogs that keep
popping up and which gives one the whoops (not to mention the users who will
crucify me if I foist this on them). I suspect that one also has to install
Outlook to gain access to the appropriate mapi dll. If one could avoid this it
would be great.

I would like to try out the new web services that are available.

I have a link to http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd877037.aspx

But does anyone know of a e-book/paper text that provides a good but simple
reference and tutorial so I can be eased into this brave new world and avoid
all the traps, pitfalls and other horrors one usually encounters when breaking
new ground. Free would be good but I am willing to pay for something that comes
with good recommendations.
