Follow-up Comment #7, bug #38659 (project avrdude): Assuming 0xFF are unprogrammed flash cells and not write them to files is confusing. - Maybe for a HEX-File this behaviour should be OK, to save filesize and transmission overhead for empty sectors. Maybe it worth to add a option to enable this
