Hello,
I want to use the gnome-console with Bacula 1.36.3 on a fc3-system
(it's new installed for the testing).
I used the rpm-install-package for fc3 and configured the dir, fd,
sd and gnome-console.conf.

append data to it, no matter how short the retention period is.
Remember that bacula only prunes when it actually needs space - so,

I try to restore a windows backup to /tmp/bacula-restores
According to 'messages' in bconsole the path becomes
/tmp/bacula-restores/c//folder/file.extension

Everything else seems ok. No errors in logs.. I think it has something to do

Any ideas?

Look for the files in c:/tmp/bacula-restores on your windows
machine. Bacula restores to the remote machine.

I have a tape that was used for some backups, which has lost its label.
Now I'm trying to get a listing and restore the contents of this tape
but not sure how to.
Should I use btape to write a new label on the tape and then use bls and
bextract to get a listing of the files and restore them?

The connection and native statements like staus dir works fine.
The problem I have are the menus for run, restore and label.
The menus in gnome-console are not yet enabled.
Can anyone tell me the signifigance of these messages at the bconsole?
Running a restore job, I get this...
