The sources come with RPM specfiles, at the very least. I believe you need to
look at the -fschwarz portion of the download page for RHEL/CentOS binaries, or
at least last I checked.

and these have no easy correlation to any of the backups I've made.
The modification timestamp shown on ls -l is the same Bacula relies on,

Basically, the moral of the whole story is that the Director and Storage
Daemon need to be running the same version. For me, that's the same host
so this is easy to remember, but otherwise one must just keep it in mind.

it all figured out.
You can purge entire volumes only, not select data. If you wish to only
purge some data, you need to have multiple volumes and use them in a
rotation.
