Technically, the Day of the Covenant and the Ascension of Baha'u'llah would
be
marked on the same day, May 29th. But out of respect for Baha'u'llah,
Abdu'l-Baha picked a day that was furthest point from May 29th, and that's

months away, Nov 26.
That's interesting. Where do you know that
I think the 9th day after the passing is very significant. If I remember correctly, Bahais in Iran used to have special commemoration meetings on the 9th day after the passing of a relative.
