I am using barry version 0.14-2ubuntu2 packaged for Ubuntu 9.04. My
device is a blackberry pearl.
I have been able to successfully backup and sync. However, I can only
sync when the device password is disabled. I would like to enable the

I was able to track this down to some bad content in the Note field for
a contact.(modified and attached with the bad character for the curious)
