Hi folks, I think I've found a bug in Barry 0.13-1.2 in detecting the 8100 (Pearl) in Ubuntu 8.04 AMD64 After a fresh install of the Barry packages (non-debug), plugging in the phone will let it charge, but running btool doesn't detect any devices. If you then force the device into old mode with

I have had similar behavior with my pearl. I use Gentoo, on 32bit. I noticed that this behavior went away when I removed the berry_charge module from my kernel. It may be coincidence, but I believe it is a good start. Remember that a kernel may autoload a module as well, so ensure that isn't
