No, it is not, that's what I'm trying to explain :) We only have one
only 'vncviewer' in the distribution, from the 'tightvnc'

What you actually want is $(type -P vncviewer). Otherwise, if they
have set alias vncviewer='vncviewer -foo' somewhere, type -p returns
nothing, while type -P
