Is it possible to get a brief update on the status of multiple SSID support from b43? I am using b43 on a broadcom based board with OpenWRT and hostapd fails to start correctly for the second SSID. I am trying to determine if it is hostapd or b43 or the OpenWRT scripts that need to be modified.
iwconfig shows that both wlan0 and wlan1 have been created. When the first instance of hostapd starts, it successfully creates the SSID for wlan0 and the mon.wlan0 interface is created. However, when the second instance of hostapd tries to start an error is received. Many thanks for any assistance that can be provided. The output from attempting to start hostapd on wlan1 is listed below. r...@openwrt:/# hostapd -dd -P /var/run/wifi-wlan0.pid -B /var/run/hostapd-wlan1.conf Configuration file: /var/run/hostapd-wlan1.conf nl80211: Add own interface ifindex 5 nl80211: Add own interface ifindex 9 nl80211: Add own interface ifindex 11 ioctl[SIOCSIFFLAGS]: Operation not supported nl80211 driver initialization failed. wlan1: Unable to setup interface.
