what is a stud dog championship? How is it earned?
I'm not familiar with a stud dog championship, but there are a couple of
honors a stud dog can be awarded.

I'd like to know the favorite vacuum cleaners of my fellow Berner buddies.
I'm looking for something that isn't a strain to use. We use a manual push
sweeper that's effective but an increasing physical strain.
Thanks!

The other honor available for stud dogs is in Stud Dog competition at
specialties. This is a non-regular class where (2) of the dog's get are
shown along with him. The judge evaluates the get looking for both
quality
and consistency. The stud dogs are then placed 1st through 4th. The same

Fortunately in our case, Ozzie's brains were already intact and included in
the purchase price when we picked him up from our breeder. I guess we are
very lucky. They occasionally malfunction but a treat or two sets them back
in order. With our Canadian postal system, I wish you good luck!
Hi Karen,
I don't know these friends of yours so it is hard for me to gauge them.
But if they are truely concerned for you it may be that they are afraid that
something might happen to Stevie and you will be devastated. The problem
with that type of thinking is that it seems to me that they are

Have all of you seen the night lights that the specialty store has for
sale?

I got one, and I'm seriously thinking that all of my rooms are looking a
little dark and in need of a night light. I don't know how he did these,

Pat,
Yes, I agree you should get one of these neat Berner night lights for every
room. I bought on from the 2003 specialty ways and means in Wheeling last
year and we use it every nightit looks great and we havent even needed to

Hi Lory,
IMO I would not take in the Pit Bull Girl at this time. Whenever I have a
sick dog I do not add anything new to their lives that might cause them
stress. When dogs are ill other dogs may attempt to dominate them or the
sick dog will be forced into a pyschologically more vunerable role
Sue,
Yep the gear bag from the 2003 Ways and Means is really great. I have seen
similar ones more expensive at LL Bean and places like that. It is very
strong and durable, gets tossed around a lot and is holding up great... and
has tons of pockets to help organise your training -- my life

Well, Vilma, I just ordered my gear bag and long sleeved T. Like you, I
bought the night light at Wheeling (Hmmm, night lights, does this say
something about us?). I have the grooming jacket in blue -- real nice --
zipper front -- good pockets -- embroidered Berner -- arrived just as my old
