Eileen,
Sounds like Mic and my Tessa could be litter mates, we
call her the coyote berner. It's embarrassing when
she's wet, sort of resembles a greyhound. One nice
thing though is she is faster than any dog we know,
wild bunnies and squirrels beware!

Liz,
Your comments brought to mind a problem I have had in
the recent past. I have come to know two women who
have purchased their dogs from pet stores, one is a
Schipperke and the other a Papillion. They are both of
my parents generation (non Internet). I am not
particularly close to either but
bowls can get small
scratches in them and cause bacteria to grow.
Whether that causes the
lightening or not, I can't be sure, but better safe
then sorry..

We don't have cracked noses but we do have a
lightening of the pigment, what causes the noses to
loose their dark color.

Hi Steve,
I will second everything you have said. We have a
lovely fenced in grassy park just minutes from our
house. It looked like a wonderful way to let my girl
Tessa run and play with the other dogs. It took only a
short time for my apprehension to set in and after 3
or 4 excursions we quit
We have a problem when giving Tanner any kind of raw
bones, he developes a 72 hour bout of diarrhea after
digesting any of it. I have tried letting him chew on
them for just a short time, 15 to 20 minutes at a time
but it doesn't seem to make any difference. We have
tried the marrow bones and the

I would be interested in a recipe also, the stinkier
