Just watched the story of Linman's dog Jackson on
ABC TV morning show. Someone stole his dog 3 1/2 years
ago in Washington DC. Linman had created a web site,
bornidentity.com trying to find the dog. The
kidnappers called him just now with a bribe for money
to get the dog back. Police moved in and

Sorry to hear of your poor baby's misfortune eating

You had great insight to go to emergency.
I think this is one of my worst fears---letting them
enjoy (bones, running lose) vs danger.

I called my local newspaper to ask the price of an ad.
I was shocked at the price for 3 lines, 3
days$40.00. I just wanted to say the
usual---don't buy from poor breeders or puppy mill.

When in Laguna Beach I had the pleasure of meeting
artist Debby Carman. I suggested that she donate one
of her ceramic pieces for the speciality and she
generously agreeded. Unfortunately the Emails I
forwarded to her from the booklet were returned. So I

This morning my Greta saw the opthmologist. That went
fine. Then I had to leave her for her exrays. ( I
wish I could see her into her holding cage. I hate to
just hand the leash over. Very protcetive Mamma.)
Then the vet. staff person called
My husband and I are spending a few days at the
St.Regis in Dana Point next week. Wondering if there
will be any Berner events going on around Orange

I need help registering my dogs. I have never really
understood my BARC Boys paperwork. I don't know if he
was registered in his native country. Amy sent two
papers, each from different countries, and the paper
from Bub Gage.
My Greta Girl needs the transfer paperwork from her
Breeders, Bestrom,

I was visiting with another dog-person (you know what
I mean) at water aerobics. I was telling her about
Gulliver's cheek lump. Explaining that he is acting
totally normally and does not
I was kind of disappointed yesterday when I took my
lover boy BARC Gulliver to the Vet's. To begin with I
could hardly force him inside. We didn't see our
regular vet. The first thing the vet did was anal
temp. which didn't make Gully fond of her. She didn't
think once about the spider bite
Thank you everyone for writing to me about my
Gulliver's swollen cheek. Not to shabby for Christmas
Eve. What a great group of friends you are. I
received 26 messages. Gully is the same. We'll see
his Dr. tomorrow.
But just wanted to say that we are watching Home and
Garden station tonight.
Merry Christmas, I doubt if many will be on our list
tonight, but I am at least going to try for help. My
BARC lover boy, Gulliver has had a swollen side of his
face for the past two days. The area might be
considered cheek, it is above the jaw line, on the
side of his mussle, brown fur on him.
I would like to buy all the Boris books I don't
already own. However I am waiting to see if Amazon
will run another shipping free offer. I hope one
wouldn't cancel the other benefit.
