How terribly sad that Jake crossed the Bridge at such a young age. It's
never long enough when we are talking about our beloved Berners. He was
so very lucky to have lived his live surrounded with love and care. He
knew that he was loved and I'm sure he returned that love.
Laura, my Max had a very similar situation, and he was initially on
Doxycycline, but it
wasn't doing anything, so the vet switched him to another drug, similar but
not the
same. I can't remember what it was but it helped. I bought chicken at
Boston chicken and went into the vet to feed him twice
on masses that the x-rays would not. Best of luck!
