My BES v4.1 crashed yesterday, fortunately I had a new BES v5 already spun up
and ready to go, I just hadn't started moving people on to it yet (other than a
few of us in IT).
So I added everyone else on to it - about 100 users - and sent them
instructions on how to activate. I'm getting

No, it is hard down with a CPU failure, disconnected from the network and
unplugged. There is no way it is providing service. The users are showing in
the BES v5 as contacting the server regularly. I noticed it almost

There must be something. The Blackberrys simply cannot self-activate against a
server they know nothing about. The SRP key and routing info on each device

Perhaps when you used transporter to move your IT department it moved whatever
is needed to activate
