I just downloaded the latest Windows beta (601n) and installed it
the same way I usually install J versions, in this case to c:\Program
Files\J\J601.
However, I got several errors while attempting to use the Edit/Configure screen.
I uninstalled it and re-installed it, and got the same errors.

What does 9!:12 return for 64 bit systems? There are two flavors - UNIX
and WINDOWS versions. It's not in help.

I was just commenting to clean up the help file.
The type for system type 6 is Windows32 (95/98/2000/NT). Maybe get rid
of the 32 because the system is not Windows32? Or add Windows64 to the
list for 6. Unix just says Unix, not 32 or 64 bit. And does type 2
(Windows) have any meaning any
If I start J601
then open project manager (where I have been working on project)
select Tools|Project Orphan Files
I get an error.
If I visit Tools|Project Directory then Cancel out and then visit
Tools|Project Orphan Files
it does give an error (I'm not familiar with it so I suppose
n beta available for Windows 64

The default install configuration (and the eventual final release) is that x. y. u. v. m. n. are spelling errors. Use
Edit|Configure|Parameters to allow x. y. etc. if required (or do 9!:49[1).
