two things in one email:
a. I was wondering what you had changed under the surface in the j.dll. What
have you been cooking up?
b. under windows if you right click on the j.dll file, and select
properties/details, you'll see that the version numbers are 602, not 701.

I've gotten J7 to run fine in console mode under emacs. However, when I run
the GTK IDE and select Edit/Configure for anything, I get the
configuration dialog which tells me where the actual configuration file is
but, when I exit this dialog, I get a Visual Studio Just in Time Debugger
message
Are you run jconsole inside emacs and then load gtkide? No idea for that
configuration. Will there be any such failure if you run directly from
command shell.
