Yes the folder j701-user/snap exists but I don't think the SystemFolders
definition for it is present. That may help.
I already tried adding Snapshots=: 0 to
try add a line for snap in profile.ijs

the profile.ijs probably needs that line. But setting Snapshots=: 0 cannot

I have installed j701abeta.
I am still puzzling my way through parts of it.
Currently, I think pacman deserves an explicit step in the

I also am a bit frustrated by its interface. The old interface

I am puzzled.

that I can get gtk frontend through pacman.
In pacman, I see that I have ide/gtk 1.0.1 installed and this is the

There is a pacman update that fixes the reported problems (|, FF top, case).
After the upgrade, run patch_jhs_'' to reload the jhs files and run with the

I like this minimalist installer, especially for its not bundled with

Unless there is a lot of push back, the installers will be minimal systems

is built it will contain the latest J engine, libraries, and JHS. Everything

Yikes. Consider me pushing back as hard as I can.

If jhs and gtk are the two primary platform for J7, could you also add the
