try add a line for snap in profile.ijs snap=. user,'/snap' the profile.ijs probably needs that line. But setting Snapshots=: 0 cannot workaround it seemed a little bit odd. I'll review outstanding gtk patches that are not yet committed to ~Addons Gtk grid separates contents from presentation.

Not sure how jhs can work together with jgtk. However if gtkide has been successfully installed, there should a file ~addon/ide/gtk/gtk.ijs which has a short-name gtkide. So theoretically you can start gtkide either with jconsole gtkide# type as a shell command or jconsole load

If jhs and gtk are the two primary platform for J7, could you also add the addons/gui/gtk to the minimal installer, it should be just 1 to 2 additonal j scripts. Personally I don't use the jgtk ide even for development work of j-gtk applications, so that whether or not the inclusion of
