JHS JAL update 1.0.20 is available.
The main change was triggered by Ric's suggestion to use the esc key to
refocus the form from the menu. In looking at this I realized that esc might
work well as the shortcut escape. This release experiments with that.
esc escapes the next key as a shortcut
of the beta.

but that file was not added to the JAL manifest so init fails.
If you did not update to 20, you should be able to do a JAL update to 21 and
run OK.

I think there are a few other JHS servers but they are back several levels
to when login worked because they want iphone/itouch support. I didn't
realize I'd broken login until I updated JUM and got caught. I'm trying now
to keep JUM current and this should catch problems like this a bit earlier.

I think you'd be further ahead starting with ijxh as your base to tune for
the iPad. With luck there would be very few parameters you need to fiddle
with. Mostly rows and columns.
There is considerable javascript to cope with contenteditable divs in jijx.
As the contenteditable div isn't

Previously all jhs files were loaded when the system started. Now only a few
core files are loaded and stubs are created in each of the app locales that
will load

Not sure I understand the question. The JHS help direct from the link menu
is help specific to JHS. In its first few lines it gives a link to
www.jsofware.com/docs/help701/index.htm. This second link should be exactly
the same as what you see by browseing directly to that page.
The font sizes
Assuming your 2 processes are in the same address space you have a few
choices. You could memory map a file in both processes. Or you could
read/write files. If your processes are on different machines then you
probably want a simple socket connection between the tasks for moving data.

1. J602 JAL to get the latest 602 stdlib
