Dear all,
Today I had organised an INVESTOR FARMER MEET in my office at KOLKATA.
All the farmers who came to Durgapur for training of BANANA came to attend
this meeting.
The participants were apart from the FARMERS from BARHAT JAMUI, all details
given in earlier mail.
The investors were
1) Mr Amlan Das who has a requirement of 10 tons per day of VEGETABLE he has
secured orders from GERMAN MAJOR, METRO CASH & CARRY, so any farmer of Bihar
who wants or can SUPPLY the VEGETABLES can contact him on his MOBILE
No: 9830470505. Most probably these farmers wont be able to supply it
because they dont have production but on the other hand as now they have a
market they are willing to produce in due time.
2) Mr Swapan Dutta Roy is DIRECTOR of MEADOW FOOD SECIALITIES LTD, he is in
need of 50,000 ltrs of milk per day and is willing to set up chilling plants
at village level and if ELECTRICITY is a problem then he is willing
to make PANEER at village level, the farmers collectively offered to start
with 700 ltrs per day and will try to arrange 10000 ltrs per day by another
12 months.
It was agreed that both the buyers will station there representative at
JAMUI who will work at FARMERS LEVEL to promote the farming of both product.
3) It was agreed that Mr Swapan Saha a reputed exporter and owner of
an ALUMINUM sheet factory will buy 5 acres of land next to the NAVODAYA
vidyalaya in BARHAT for a DAIRY PROCESSING UNIT.
4) It was agreed that Mr B K Sinha of the same village will set up a
SECONDARY HARDENING UNIT FOR TISSUE CULTURE BANANA in Barhat for which the
training has already been completed.
I am convinced that everything will be materialised in due course of time.
The vegetable and dairy will start in one month of time rest all as
scheduled after training of VRIKSHAYURVEDA which is organised on 16th to
20th of Dec, after this training the farmers will be totally ready for a new
ERA of there life and I will be satisfied a lot as for the first time I have
done something for my ancestors land.
