At 0705 to 733 an adult Sooty Tern flew past the Long Point Provincial Park 1km
west of the park boundary. The bird was originally spotted by Mike Boyd about
500m off shore heading west. It was followed by myself, Mike and Ross Wood as

Sunday afternoon(3rd)during the tail end of the storm there were two adult
little gulls flying over the inner bay of Long Point with about 50 Bonaparte's.
The spring migration has really started to pick up here at Long Point with 131
birds banded on opening day (April 1) and our

This afternoon, an adult Golden Eagle was sitting in the field adjacent to the
corner of the East Quarter Line Rd. and Concession A., just west of Port Rowan,
probably investigating some carrion. 5 Turkey Vultures were also in the area.

I refound the LARK SPARROW later this morning hanging out with some CHIPPING
SPARROWS in the field adjacent to the children's Hut off of Lakeshore Rd. Just
across the Rd from the churchs.
Beautiful bird probably second year as the white in the stripes on the back of
the head is not as
