northeast over the Canadian Tire at the north end of Bancroft.

some time sorting through them managed to find 1 Brewer's Blackbird (male)

Birders about ten minutes ago while driving on the 401 a female Long tailed
Duck nearly hit us and several other cars as it tried landing on the west bound
lanes just west of exit 312. We assume it was confused with the slick looking
ashphalt. Quite bizarre!

Our group on the Huron Fringe Birding Festival just found a Western
Kingbird. It is flycatching from trees along the road in to the sewage
lagoons.
Directions: as you come in to Wiarton on Hwy 6 turn right (east) on Elm and
the lagoons are just past the cemetery.
