Hi All I've had a few people asking if the bird has been seen today and I'm happy to report that I got a text around 11 am to let me know the bird is present. If you arrive and you don't see it right away, be patient and wait a bit - the bird sometimes moves to the opposite side of the break

Hi All I was able to make it out to Wheatley Harbour after work and was lucky enough to get to see the pelican. It was sitting on the rock break wall as previously reported by Alan Wormington. The bird stayed in the same location until 7 pm when it took off and flew out into the lake. It had
