What is a reasonable amount of time to ask a working dog to down and stay? Sometimes, I want to put my dog on a down/stay and go off to do something that may take 10 minutes or so. Tarra is a 5 and half year old Border Collie who has a mind of her own and can be quite stubborn. When I put her
