Barb, I am also in Oregon and know what you mean about weather weenie sheep. This is the first year I have been able to get them to graze in constant rain and it's only because their access to other food gets cut off late morning. So it's graze or go hungry- even the lazy ones figure this out

I wish you'd send those sprinkles my way! We've been 45 days with not one drop of rain and none in the forecast for at least 7 more days! Any small hope that I had that I could stop buying hay for the sheep has disappeared as quickly as the few blades of grass that were left on my pastures.

Barb: I move the barn. Really!! I built the sheep barn out of 2 inch square tubing. I built fork extensions on an old 20 ton military forklift I have and I just move the barn, Blade it out with the loader/backhoe, and then set the barn back down... Cecil in Okla - Original Message
