hello everyone! the DEC/JAN transport trip was completed Wednesday - 20,000 miles were covered in 5 1/2 weeks - this was a trip of extremes - I went from TX to extreme north MT (Sweetgrass) to extreme south AZ (Douglas) to extreme north ME (Caribou) to extreme south AZ (Douglas again) to Seattle to Topeka and back home to TX
Murphy was also at an extreme - a freshly rebuilt transmission had a failure in a $20 part that ended up causing me to loose the transmission totally - the AAMCO people in Bountiful UT located a replacement transmission and had it installed in 6 hours after I limped into their driveway! for those of you with young children/grand children you can tell them for sure that you know the three little pigs now live in a wooden barn near Caribou Maine - I delivered three Guinea house pigs to Maine - they were the cutest little critters and enjoyed their ride around the west coast before going northeast to Maine I will begin preliminary planning of the MAR/APR trip immediately - please get your reservations to me early to insure that your animals will be on the itinerary - reply to me at my private email address below - I do not monitor the group closely so I may miss messages sent through the group a quick analysis of 2007 tax records indicates that I am going to have to raise my prices slightly - I am working on a way to retain the formula I use but at the same time allow for the increased cost of parts and labor - more info soon I hope everyone had happy holidays - Christmas I was in southern California - New Years eve midnight I was in a rest stop east of Little Rock -- PLEASE READ THE IMPORTANT MESSAGES BELOW!! questions?
