It's drying up here in Northern California. Starting to get 80-90* days and the grass is almost all brown. There are a few green blades and a few green weeds, but mostly brown, dried plant matter.
Which makes me wonder why one of my older ewes, who has no access to alfalfa pellets, is having fairly loose bright green manure, when everyone else is making brown pellets? She was just given oral Panacure, last weekend.
