Thanks to Rick, who emiled me to inquire about why he hadn't received a
digest lately, I learned that NO ONE has been receiving the digests since
April 25. That is fixed now, and digest recipients should have received
Digest 140 by now. Thanks, Rick. And any of you who EVER have any problems
Hey! Here in Tx those sweet little lambs start tasting around day 2. You
can wean at 2 months if mom is really looking like she needs a break. Of
course the longer with mom the better but if there is a ram with mom you
really need to get your ewe lambs out of there no later than 4 months old.

I usually wean my lambs at between 8-12 weeks old. I move the ewes out of
the pen (leave the lambs where they grew up) and as far as I can get them.
Unfortunately, sometimes that means that only a fence separates them, which
makes things a bit more noisy.
