You can visit the laptop's manufacturer's site for the graphics drivers.
However, in the mean time, consider using an external sound card: if the
operating system you installed is WinXP or higher, you will get sound from
that card. Just make sure you have either headphones or speakers to plug

About cost, I think there in your country it may be cheaper but here in
Zimbabwe it costs less than $4 (and prices differ from vendor to vendor).

Not sure on the NLS player but if I remember correctly, with
my Victor Stream I needed to visit their site and register
the unit with them as my preferred device for listening and
then I got some type of a key I needed to install on the SD
card in the stream. Been a while so above may not

You would open Firefox from either the desktop or start menu. You can
also type firefox into the run dialogue box. Your home page will open.
You can then press ctrl+l and type the URL of the site you want to go
to, then press enter. When finished, close out Firefox with the usual
keystroke.
Like I said we should put Mike in charge of checking to make sure all of our

It just plays digital books. You can use the nls machine to read their
audio (digital) books. If you are using a program like audible.com or
something, no, they will not play on the nls machine.

are usable.
I am sure the digital players are not on that list.
You can put the books on the olimpus recorders.
They have an Audible folder on them.

I just downloaded the free you tube converter, and I have questions. I'm
sorry I'm dumber than dirt here but I'm not grasping how to do this.
I have several you tube links in my favorites folder. So, How do I go about
converting these links to mp3?

The built-in Windows Media Player can play videos just fine. You just browse
to the DVD and Open it if your computer does not automatically handle this
as an autoplay feature.
You can even use it to rip the dVD as well.

Well here goes the old college try as the saying is phrased. A rich text
file does contain a small amount of formatting like a full blown word
processor IE highlights ETC. A simple text file contains nothing of the kind
at all.

You don't need to delete anything; when you press ctrl+l the text is all
selected so once you start typing the new address the old text is replaced
by that.
