Hi Becky, I am using the HP scan jett 5000. It is a real work horse. Unfortunately, my computer caught a Trojan malware, and since then I haven't been able to get the driver to install properly. Still working on that one. Anyway, I scanned more textbooks with it than I care to think about. I

Hi Becky, Any new scanner should have drivers which should work with Windows 7. Epson, Canon, and Hp come to mind. I prefer a stand-alone scanner, haven't had much luck with all-in-ones and OpenBook, but no real problem with the software and Jaws once the installation is done. HTH, Rick Justice
