I have a Visioneer One Touch 7300 scanner that I used with XP and Text Cloner
Pro. I wanted to move the scanner to my Windows 7 computer along withthe the
Text Cloner Pro, but it appears the scanner will not work with Windows 7. I
cannot find any updated drivers for the Visioneer

I am using the HP scan jett 5000. It is a real work horse.
Unfortunately, my computer caught a Trojan malware, and since then I haven't
been able to get the driver to install properly. Still working on that one.

I have 2 hp scanners, the hp Scanjet g3110 I believe and the hp officejet
pro 8600 which is an all in one.
They both work well with my windows 7 machine.
The officejet I use as a network scanner.
I also have a plustek which no longer works.

You got one on me, I have not tried to network a scanner before. I knew it
was possible and supposedly optical drives as well but something I have not
attempted. Printers are no problem at all on the other hand. Thanks, this is
something to ponder.

Hi Becky,
Any new scanner should have drivers which should work with Windows 7.
Epson, Canon, and Hp come to mind.
I prefer a stand-alone scanner, haven't had much luck with all-in-ones and
OpenBook,
but no real problem with the software and Jaws once the installation is
done.
