Are you sure it's a folder and not a program? Also you can't delete
something that is running or in some way being used by another program or
process.

No, I have a machine with IE 7, and another with IE 8. Both work fine.
Also using jaws 10 on IE 8, and Jaws 8 on the IE 7...
