from www.microsoft.com/security_essentials. I have upgraded right now
with initially problems but after a reboot the upgrade was successful
and is now protecting my computer.

Because NVDA doesn't have a powerful scripting language compared to
JAWS, proprietary applications may or may not work with NVDA. However
they will work with JAWS because of its powerful scripting language.

As NVDA does not employ any video intercept, there is not really a way
to simulate a mouse pointer. You can however use features like Object
Navigation and Flat Review, thoroughly discussed in the documentation.
NVDA can also interact with the physical mouse or similar device.

GoldWave will detect if a screen reader is running and thus alter its
user interface so that the program is more accessible than if you were
not running one. I don't use any scripts though and infrequently do I

JAWS Professional if you don't have it already and JAWS Remote Access
authorization. These are chargeable features. JAWS must be installed on
both client and server machines, and you must use either Remote
Desktop/Terminal
I doubt it. JAWS 8.0 was the first to support Microsoft Office 2007.
JAWS 11.0, as of 1430 I think, is the first to support Microsoft Office
2010. JAWS 12.0 supposedly has enhanced support but I have not tested it
