hi there, please make sure that all of the files that you need ie documents and the like are backed up from the windows.old folder which can be found in your c: drive. now as for you not being able to delete the windows .old folder, you can use this script to take ownership of the files

Hi Scorpio, You have answered your own question really. There is no classic Windows like there was in Vista or earlier. You are stuck with the Windows 7 look and feel. The only thing you can do is change the theme to Windows Classic. This will remove the desktop from the alt+tab list, as well
