Hi Nickolay, The screen resolution that you gave sounds more appropriate for Windows 98. I believe the recommended resolution for Jaws and Windows XP, is 1024 by 768, that is what I have been using since XP came out. You can refer to the technical service bulletins and FAQ's at:

Hi, That's true it really sounds like Windows 98 resolution, however if a video device driver is corrupt that is exactly the reslution that pops up. I had this effect, when via add/remove programs remove the video intercept of JAWS 12, I mean I had sach a case. Regards, Nikolay -
