Don't count on Activision-Blizzard addressing this issue. After all, they are not the ones making Hearthstone accessible. As an aside, I did get everything set up, but it was overcomplicated and buggy to create an account. However, once the setup is complete, the rest works well enough. -

I used the battle net application to try and create the account and that’s what happened to me. Would be good if they can fix this element. It’s not usually my type of game either but good things have been said about it so was just interested in giving it a go on Mac to see how usable it is.

A lot of people over on audiogames.net seemed to be having problems with this. I wonder if trying to create from the battle.net application would  run into the same problem? Its also been a while since that problem was first reported, so it could be improved, now, and if it isn't, hopefully it

For me, I ran into this issue when I was trying to create the mandatory battle net account for hearthstone. It said there was an audio challenge available, but I never got it to work. I have a friend who had the same issue as well, so neither of us have been able to even give hearthstone a try.
