I'm wondering now as I read this and the air conditioner just powering to go
off it seems to produce a popping sound in the speakers and maybe all of
this is just something as needing new speakers?
I've experience this before just hadn't noticed it in regards to the A/C
delimma.

It's not too hard to make one prototype, the problem is getting 1000 of them
manufactured. I have seen those vibrating signalers in industrial surplus
catalogs. They are nothing more than little motors with an unbalanced
weight on the shaft.
