I wish all of you could join us in Houston but I realize financial
constraints and other things make that impossible. So, next best thing, how
about this. I think we have a deal worked out with Bruce at out of sight to

I'd arrange things so as the direction you want to move the hole is downward
much easier to keep pressure going the right way and not go off at some cockeyed

I have such a toothed bit, I think it was called a drill saw.
It wants to walk strongly because of the rotational direction of the tool.
It is also, in my paranoid opinion, very dangerous because there are teeth
all along the shank. You can carefully touch a spinning drill bit but not

Depending on the length of the slot, can you just drill two holes very
close together then use the file to break out the wall between? If the
slot is less than twice the diameter of the bit, I don't think it would
work to drill a second hole as the bit would want to walk into the other
hole.

I have no personal experience with this item, but several friends of

What I actually ended up doing is drilling two holes and using a chissle to
clear out between them. I liked the file idea but don't have one and didn't
want to wait until I can get one.

Ralph,
That's a perfectly fine way, I'd assumed, obviously wrongly,
that the length you needed would be less than the diameter of
two holes. The chisel can give you a nice straight edge to the result.

Well I ordered the vip1000 from talkingthermostats.com. It was a little more
money but after talking to the manufacturer I am convinced it is a good
product. It has a money back guarantee, lifetime warranty. Unlike the kelvin
is not vulnerable to loud noises. It seams easy to install for me
I have that exact model, I am quite sure you'll be pleased with it.

I think you will find that the burner shut-off and the fan control is not

Since it only leaks when you flush, that means that there's a crack in the
drain tube, which runs through the bottom of the tank. There's a rubber
washer around it, under the tank, which obviously isn't containing the leak.
So, I don't believe you only need the big rubber wash, you need a new

Ralph, try a Rotozip bit, like this one from Sears (click on the link).
These do fit in regular drills.

The trouble that I had with that particular thermostat was that it wouldn't
keep the settings after a while. A friend of mine had this one for 6 months or
more, so I feel that this one certainly had a malfunction, to say the least! I
don't know about the VIP one, but I am very leery of them.
Another thing that works is crayons. Or those waxy carpenter pencils.

Hi,
Our microwave has stopped working!
Does anyone have the number for Hamilton Beach?
We haven't even had this thing for a year yet, and I've tried unplugging it
and moving it to another location, but it doesn't speak, doesn't cook,
doesn't do anything!
Thanks.

It's on Hamilton beach.com that's where I found it when I called them at first

Jimmy,
Do you remember how much of a warranty it has?
I can't believe I'm without a microwave.
I may have to go out and purchase a standard one!
