Hi,
I just purchased a new Cannon MP470 Series all in one printer, scanner and
copier.
For the life of me, I can't figure out where to open the printer to place
the ink cartridges.
Any ideas would be appreciated!

A lot of times, the whole top lifts up on those kind of printers and that
exposes the place where you install the cartridges. Have you tried to call the
place where you bought it and have someone there walk you through it?

I read someplace it said you have to have it plugged in to install them. I
know on my HP when I lift the cover, the cartridge housing slides to the middle
for installation.

Your welcome, Rita:
I had a cat tree once and the thing you have to be careful is make sure you
pick them at just the right time of the year - before the squirrels eat
them! If you leave them on too long, they grow into great big tom cats and
it costs too much to feed them.

I understand how the voltage of a battery could be checked to
see if it is weak. I was always under the impression that for a true test
the battery had to be under a load condition. I suspect that the audible
battery testers provide the load when it is activating the buzzer.

Does it give a reading when the leads are touched together? A high
resistance voltmeter will pick up electric fields on
