No, it does not introduce rust or any other concerns into the duct
work. Even growing up with one of the older humidifiers and I'm
talking over 30 years ago and there was never any problems. The level
of humidity is not great. In other words, if you stand at the vent,
you don't feel a mist

I wish I'd have known about the MUVO player, from Zen! I have a 1 Gib Zenstone
and a 2 gig model, and I paied more for these, than the price quoted for this

During the winter heating season we are talking about trying to get the
household humidity up to around 40%.
Molt isn't a problem in warm ducts where the humidity will be considerably
lower than that however it can be a problem around the frames of windows,
corners of bathrooms

There is not enough water vapor to create a mold environment as far as
I know. We have never had mold in our ducts in the years that we have
had this humidifier running. Nope, no mold, rust, or scary creatures

remember seeing one that you could write on and it was erasable. Big deal for
most of us...
