Hello there. I recently downloaded a few jim kitchen games and uninstalled them as they didn't work after a few times of playing. I would like to get the sappi voices off so when I do a read all with jaws key plus 2 that it willl read using the JAWS voice not the sappi voice. I know some of

Well Dan, You can always accumulate your experience and build the stairs again without errors. The trick is to put your time into the jig system. Your design will be much stronger than the sawtooth style of cutting stringers. Cutting that style and getting it accurate is really divvicult.

Dale, Believe it or not, the jig I built far exceeded my expectations of accuracy. The treads do not walk forward or backward on the stringers, and more surprisingly, the left and right dados match up perfectly. I did have to do a bit of hand sanding on the one set of dados to get the treads

I just watched a Wood Smith Shop tip and it talked about using o-rings on the shaft of your router bits to keep the bit from slipping. I've not heard of this. Does anyone have experience with these? Is there any concern about the o-ring melting? No matter what you do, you are going to

You won't get the bit in place with an O ring on the shaft. I think what they may have been saying is what I've done for as long as I had a router. The ideal setting for a bit is about a sixteenth from seating all the way in. I took a half inch OD O ring and dropped it in the collet and
