I'm going to pass this around where I work as we've got a hat
full of physiologists who may have opinions.
Might relate to ballance problems many of us have also.
but it doesn't solve the basic difficulty of sensing the location

Not much usefull has come of it.
Audible beacons might work but you probably wouldn't hear them
over the blower unless you ran them at rock

that's way beyond what I would have imagined to be the solution.
In the mean while I wonder if there would be some thing as affective and yet
much more simple and less costly.

don't say Maxi or people of integrity will get sick on your shoes.
Just a resistor to shunt to ground on the zap part of that collar and you'll
have reduction.
The proper potentiometer there and it's variable for days you are hearing well.
