Yesterday we were out for a while and Karen went to look at a new ironing
board. When I inquired about that purchase she told me that she is afraid to
use hers because it is so unstable. I just looked at it. It has T-legs and
the rivets are loose on both front and back legs.

Me too. Quick and easy and would work about as well as anything else and if
it doesn't, you can still go the new ironing board route. tapping screws
are something most of us might even have a few out in the shop
