I am trying to remove the center air vent on an E28 5-Series. I have the top vent cover already removed (two screws). Does the front center vent just pry/pull out? Are there one or more screws that I am not seeing? Perhaps they are accessed from behind or the side after removing something else? Late E28s had decorative grilles instead, with no ductwork. The removal process is likely different. It's possible to convert from new to old.
