Yes, cvs diff -u is now working for me. I tried it with the following
TZ settings: GMT, GMT0, BST-1, GMT0BST,
GMT0BST,M3.5.0,M10.5.0, Europe/London, foobar. (Glibc defaulted
to UTC when I used foobar!)

Just testing tp see if plain text attachments (such as patches) are
accepted by the list manager. With some email clients, the main message
body is subject to line-wrap mangling :-)

the archive though... My email program
(Thunderbird) is pretty useless for sending patches in the main body of
the email, so it will have to be an attachment.
